Greenville, Ohio
ROSA BOYER MILLER, daughter of John H. and Lydia Boyer, was born near Versailles, Darke County, Ohio, August 24, 1862, and died at her home on Washington Avenue, Greenville, Ohio, April 27, 1939, aged 76 years, eight months and three days.

On September 24, 1882, she was united in marriage to Jacob R. Miller. To this union was born three sons and five daughters, all of whom survive her, except the eldest daughter, Delphia, who preceded her in death, March 17, 1902.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Jacob R. Miller, three sons, Charles and Arthur of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Russell of New Madison, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Harrison Horine of Arcanum, Ohio, Miss Leona Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mrs. Franklin Hansbarger and Mrs. Virgil Royer of Arcanum, Ohio; fourteen grand children and three great-grandchildren, Also surviving, three half-brothers, Alva Boyer and Harvey Boyer of Greenville, Ohio, and one half-sister, Clare Boyer of Greenville, Ohio, and many other relatives and friends.

Rosa was a kind and devoted mother, counting no sacrifice too great for the welfare of her children, a devout Christian, earnestly reading her Bible daily, and having been an invalid for the past ten and one-half years spent much of her time in her chair by the window, her cheery smile and wave of her hand will be greatly missed by the many friends who passed by.

She bore her many years of affliction with much patience and fortitude, and in her last illness said, "I want to go home and rest." And when her summons came to join that innumerable caravan, which moves to that mysterious realm, where each shall take his chamber in the select halls of death, soothed and sustained by an unfaltering trust, she approached her grave like one who wraps the draperies of her couch about her and lies down to pleasant dreams.
