Rites Saturday For Joe MillerARCANUM-Joe H. Miller, 43, president of the Darke County Implement Dealers and business manager of the Virgil A. Royer potato farm in the Arcanum area, died at 10:00 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan hospital, Dayton. He had been ill since April 6, and underwent surgery yesterday. His residence was at 308 West First street, Arcanum. A native of Darke county, Mr. Miller spent most of his life in the area. He had lived in Arcanum for the past 18 years, He was a World War II veteran, and a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church at Arcanum, where he was assistant superintendent. He belonged to the Masonic lodge of Arcanum, and the Scottish Rite and Antioch Shrine at Dayton. Survivors are: his wife, Madonna; one daughter, Joyce, at home; his mother, Mrs. Maude Miller of New Madison, and one brother, Tom of Baltimore, Md. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the E.U.B. church at Arcanum, with the Rev. Paul Chastain officiating. Burial will be in Greenmound cemetery, New Madison. Friends may call at the Kreitzer funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday until noon, and from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church. A Scottish Rite ring service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
