Virginia M. Fields, 80, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, May 30, 2009 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.

She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Ross) Hoschouer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin Hesson; second husband, Curt Fields; a brother, Dale Hoschouer; and a sister, Janice Fields.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Tim Larger) Nixon of Versailles, Franklin, III "Phil" (Betsy) Hesson of Greenville; Karen (Michael) Hecht of Celina; Janet (Tom) Rieman of Rossburg; Bruce (Cheryl) Hesson of Oxford, OH; step children, Curt (Tina) Fields of Bath, IN; Greg (Cindy) Fields of Hamilton, OH; and Melissa Egersdorfer of North Canton, OH; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; brothers, Duane (Barb) Hoschouer of Greenville and Keith (Karan) Hoschouer of Clinton, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, at 10:30 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Laura Shreffler officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park near Covington, Ohio.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, from 6-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

The family wishes to convey their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Staff at Rest Haven Nursing Home for their exceptional care of their mother Virginia.
