J1 Mary Inez Ross, born November 9, 1906, died September 25, 1993; married Earnest Jennings Hoschouer born 1908, died February 5, 1956. Ernest was the son of Andrew Jackson Hoschouer, born 1881, died 1973, and Dora Mae Kimmel, born 1888, died 1962.

Mary Ross was born November 9, 1906 to Linus and Catherine (Miller) Ross. They lived in Rossburg, Ohio. She moved to the farm with her parents at a very young age. She attended and graduated from Ansonia High School. Then she married Ernest Hoschouer. They had a family of six children, the third child passing away after only a few days old.

Midway through her child rearing years she was left alone. Shortly after this she moved in with her patents and sister Esther. Soon after her father was bedfast in his illness. He needed care which she was able to provide until his death in 1951. Mary went to work at General Athletic and continued there until her retirement at age 67, after 20 years.

In 1965, she and her sister bought a house in Ansonia, where they lived until 1992. In 1985 she found a lump in her breast and had a lumpectomy, and went through a series of chemo and radiation.

In 1992 she and Esther moved in with her daughter Virginia, due to illness. She lived there until her death in September 25, 1993.
