G5 Clara Viona Larcher, born November 25, 1877, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio; died August 4, 1942, Cassville, Barry County, Missouri. She married Robert Duel Embrey December 31, 1896 in Newton County, Missouri, son of William Embrey and Martha Patton. Ten children.

Robert Duel Embrey was born March 15, 1874 in Fairview, Newton County, Missouri, and died April 26, 1945 in Belton, Cass County, Missouri. Clara and Robert are both buried in Dice Cemetery, Fairview, Missouri. Clara was a housewife, and her Religion was Old German Baptist. Robert was a farmer and a Watkins salesman, His cause of death was Heart disease.

Their daughter, Lottie, said that her Mother and Father were "crazy about each other" until death separated them.


From her obituary in the September 1942 edition of the VINDICATOR, publication of the Old German Baptist Church:

"When she was seven, her parents moved the family near Fairview, Newton County, Missouri. In the year 1921 she united with the Old German Baptist Church in which faith she remained faithful until death. She was a kind and affectionate mother and had a great concern for her home and the welfare of her children. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need and her activities in that capacity were widely known. Funeral services were held in Maple Grove Church by Elder James Brooks assisted by Elder Joel Montgomery to a large audience of relatives, neighbors and friends. Text used was Rev. 14th chapter, 12th and 13th verses. "
