Bob Agne & Thelma Marie Horine |
Family of David Agne and Priscilla Mae Holley, 1979 |
Thelma Horine was born on April 17, 1922 (the siblings came to celebrate these April birthdays with an annual birthday outing, usually to Fort Black buffet in New Madison). Thelma graduated from Eaton High School (and frequently attended alumna reunions) and married Robert Wendlene Agne on December 12, 1943. His civilian job with the government caused them to move several times (Kansas, Alabama, Ohio). As retirees, Bob and Thelma resided in Battle Creek, Michigan. Thelma retired as a beautician but then performed many volunteer hours at the local hospital. Bob and Thelma both do volunteer work with a group called The 29'ers, going to work in the north in the fall and the south in the spring. Bob is very active in his church work after his Emmaus Walk. Bob and Thelma always loved coming back to visit their family in Eaton from their far away homes. They had one son, David Allan Agne (U.S. Navy, cook, and video producer) who with wife Priscilla gave Bob and Thelma two grandsons, Eric and Jeromy. Now fishing and camping fill many of their hours. These Horines do love to fish! Bob and Thelma celebrated their fiftieth anniversary in 1993.
Child of Thelma Horine and Robert Agne:
N2 Jeremy Daniel Agne, born September 13, 1970.
