Obituary of Jacob Wesley HorineJacob Wesley Horine, a lifelong resident of Butler Township, died at his home in the neighboring village of Castine at eleven a. m. Sunday [May 22, 1932]. His death was reported due to a paralytic stroke.HORINE DEATH AT CASTINE IS MOURNED HERE
Lifelong resident of Butler Township is Victim of Paralysis--Death Occurs at Eleven A. M. Sunday Morning at Home in Neighboring Village - Funeral Services Wednesday.
Mr. Horine was born in the Castine vicinity, and since boyhood had engaged in farming pursuits in Butler township. Due to extensive agricultural activities he was widely known in Darke county.
Surviving relatives include his wife, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles McLear, Arcanum, Ohio, and two brothers, W. C. Horine, Sidney, and J. W. Horine, Eaton. The Rev. J. A. Pantle, Greenville, will officiate at funeral services, which are to be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Otterbein church. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
