Robert Miller

Robert F. Miller, 67, 631 N. State Line, Union City, died unexpectedly late Sunday afternoon, March 23, 1980 at the Wayne Hospital, Greenville.

A native of Darke County, he was born July 5, 1912 the son of the late Frederick and Sylvia Apple Miller. He retired in 1977 from Anchor Hocking in Winchester after approximately 30 years service.

Survivors include the widow, Ada Apple Miller; one daughter, Mrs, Richard (Shirley) Wantz of Union City; one son, Richard E. of Chamblee, Ga., four grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Martin of St. Mary's, O. and Helen McFarland of Springfield, O., several aunta, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry, and one brother, Forrest.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fraze and Timmons Funeral Home, Union City, with the Rev. Roberta Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

The family requests that contributions be made to the Heart Fund or the the charity of the donor's choice.
