Saturday, August 15, 1942Sylvia Miller dies in hospital.Mrs. Sylvia Miller, 54, 629 Walnut street, Greenville, died unexpectedly early Friday in the Wayne hospital where two weeks ago she had undergone an operation. Death was due to a blood clot. Surviving are the husband, Fred of Middletown, Ohio; one son, Robert of Union City; two daughters, Mrs. M. E. McFarland of Dawn and Gladys at home; the mother, Mrs. Anne Peck of Ansonia; four brothers, Julius Apple of St. Marys, Marion of Piqua, Irvin and Alfred of Versailles; one sister, Mrs. James Clark of Piqua; one half-brother, Chalmer Peck of Beamsville, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p. m. (EWT) at the Ansonia Church of God in charge of Rev. Marco King. Burial will be in the Beamsville cemetery.
