Alberta K. Sarver, 79, of Union, formerly of Arcanum died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her residence. Alberta was born in Union Twp., Miami County on November 9, 1935, daughter of the late Orville and Opal (Metzger) Lavy.
Alberta was a Homemaker and Mother. She was a member of the New Conference Shiloh Old German Baptist Church. Mrs. Sarver is survived by her husband John Sarver, whom she married November 15, 1952; Daughter Shirley (Gale) Turner of Arcanum; Son Steven (Shirley Hathaway) Sarver of Arcanum; 5 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers Delmer (Marjorie) Lavy of Washington, Dean Lavy of Arcanum, Gary (Janet) Jones of Eldorado, and Dean (Becky) Jones of Greenville.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Pitsburg Church of the Brethren New Conference Location, Pitsburg, with the Home Brethren officiating. The Family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2 - 5 and 6 - 8 PM at the Pitsburg Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at Mote Cemetery.
