George was born 1782, died 1850. He was born Frederick Co., Maryland and died in Butler Co., Ohio. He married on Dec. 4, 1805 to Catherine Horine. He was a private in Capt. James Neals 36th U.S. Infantry in the War of 1812. He enlisted in Frederick Co., Md. and was discharged at Baltimore,Md. He entered service Sept. 15, 1813 and was discharged Sept. 15, 1814. He served in regular infantry near Baltimore and Washington City; participated in Battle of Bladensbough. George V. and Catherine were married by Rev. Craven, minister. They moved from Maryland to Hamilton Co., Ohio, then to Warren Co., Ohio, then to Butler Co., Ohio. They had:

I1 John C. Castle (Cassell), born March 29, 1807, Frederick Co., Md.; went to Cass Co., IN in 1836 and entered land in Harrison Twp. He married in Warren Co., Ohio Sarah Foffield on March 22, 1836. She was b. Jan. 9, 1818 to Arthur and Sarah (Eckles) Foffield. They had no children.
