Miller, born June 8, 1817 in Montgomery County, Ohio, died 25 August 25, 1900; married 1838 in Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana Rachel Bigler, born May 1, 1817 in West Bethlehem Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, died March 11, 1893 in Elkhart County, Indiana. Rachel was the daughter of David Bigler and Nancy Grabill. David and Rachel are buried in West Union Cemetery, Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.

David C. Miller was a Veteran of the Civil War. He was a private in the 29th Regiment Indiana Infantry, Company K (M540 roll 51).

David C. Miller, aged 83 years, and a pioneer resident of Elkhart county, coming from Ohio, died at his home in Union township Saturday after a long illness of cancer of the stomach. He was one of the first settlers. Three of his daughters married brothers, Mrs. Daniel Wysong, Mrs. Josiah Wysong and Mrs. Henry Wysong of Elkhart township. The other surviving children, there having been nine in the family, are Mrs. Joseph Geyer and Jacob Miller of Elkhart county; Mrs. Adam Miller of North Dakota. The funeral occurred Sunday morning.

G2 Jacob B. Miller, born July 12, 1841 in Darke County, Ohio, died June 25, 1922; married November 18, 1866 Esther Swihart, born August 24, 1844 in Seneca County, Ohio, died October 6, 1924 in Nappanee, Indiana. Esther Swihart was the daughter of Samuel Swihart (1818-1888) and Fannie Baker.

G3 Mary Miller, born September 13, 1843; married September 7, 1862 Daniel Wysong, born September 28, 1842, died January 13, 1924; Daniel was a Brethren Minister, and was the son of Robert Wysong and Anna Miller.

G4 Hannah Miller, born June 21, 1845 in Darke County, Ohio, died October 18, 1902 in Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana; married June 14, 1868 Adam B. Miller, born February 3, 1830 in Montgomery County, Ohio, died August 11, 1920; Adam was the son of David Y. Miller and Eva Bainter.

G5 Susannah Miller, born June 26, 1848, died August 23, 1864; buried in West Union Cemetery.

G6 Sarah Miller, born July 8, 1850, died March 3, 1882 in Elkhart, Indiana; married October 10, 1868 Charles A. Stuart, born October 11, 1847, died June 6, 1871.

G7 Lavina Miller, born November 5, 1857 in Elkhart County, Indiana, died April 24, 1936 near Nappanee, Indiana; married September 4, 1875 Henry Wysong, born February 2, 1853, died November 19, 1936. Henry was the son of Robert Wysong and Anna Miller

G8 Rachel Miller, born 1855, died 1922; married February 4, 1875 Joseph Geyer, born March 16, 1852 Elkhart County, Indiana, died April 21 1932, son of John Geyer and Catherine Leslie; both are buried in West Union Cemetery.

G9 Julia A. Miller, born 1852, died 1926, married September 7, 1871 Joshua Wysong, born February 6, 1848 Elkhart County, Indiana, died August 27, 1920, Noble County, Indiana, son of Robert Wysong and Anna Miller. They are buried Sparta Cemetery in Noble County.

G10 Malinda Miller, born December 34, 1859, died September 12, 1888; married August 28, 1979 Solomon Pepple, born 1858, died 1909 .
