J7 Barbara Ann Miller, born May 10, 1934 in Montgomery County, Dayton, Ohio; married March 6, 1954 Clarence Edward Garrett, Jr., born August 24, 1929, died December 3, 2007. Clarence's father was Clarence Edward Garrett. Four children.

My daddy was proud to serve in the Army. He was a very patriotic man.

He graduated from Oak Ridge (Tennessee) High School Class Of 1946, at Age 16 (known as the Secret City at that time). He raised us children to be proud Christian Americans. I was extremely touched when the service man handed the flag to OUR PRECIOUS mother and he thanked her for daddy's service to the United States of America and he said, "God blesses you, God bless your family and God Bless America".

Daddy passed away Dec 3rd 2007 quietly in his bed taking a nap at age 78.

He often spoke of being blessed to have served his country and was able to come home... Not all our soldiers nor their families have been so lucky.

In memory of my precious daddy Rev. Clarence E Garrett Jr... Please pray for our soldiers and their families... MY DAD WAS ALSO A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY OF THE LORD...

K2 Patricia Louise Garrett, born May 17, 1955 Montgomery County Ohio; married March 6, 1974 Michael Crown Magill, born October 2, 1955, in Montgomery County Ohio.

K3 Joyce Ann Garrett, born July 17, 1958; married (1) September 13, 1976 Robert S. Haskins; married (2) February 12, 1982 Rev. James Jones in Dayton, Ohio, born February 10, 1963 in Dayton Ohio.

K4 Thomas Albert Garrett, born May 15, 1961 died June 30, 1979 auto accident; drunk driver hit him and his friend - both died.
