Samuel George Hatheway

Samuel G. Hatheway, 80, retired farmer and life resident of the Tunnel Hill vicinity, died at 10:15 a.m., yesterday at the Evans Rest Home near Bowerston following a short illness.

Surviving are six children, F. M. and H. R. Hatheway of near Dennison, Albert of El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Nellie Heavlin of near Dennison, Mrs. Erma Johnson of Columbus, and Mrs. Mildred Gibson of Scio; thirteen grandchildren and a brother, Joseph of the Evans Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Boor Funeral Home in Bowerston at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. H. H. Davis and Rev. P. E. Wright officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Hill cemetery.
