Samuel George Hatheway

Samuel G. Hatheway, 80, retired farmer and life resident of the Tunnel Hill vicinity, died at 10:15 a.m., yesterday at the Evans Rest Home near Bowerston following a short illness.

Surviving are six children, F. M. and H. R. Hatheway of near Dennison, Albert of El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Nellie Heavlin of near Dennison, Mrs. Erma Johnson of Columbus, and Mrs. Mildred Gibson of Scio; thirteen grandchildren and a brother, Joseph of the Evans Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Boor Funeral Home in Bowerston at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. H. H. Davis and Rev. P. E. Wright officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Hill cemetery.

F4 Frank Merle [Mirl] Hatheway (twin), born January 21, 1894 died June 23, 1963; married Edna Mae Smith, born November 10, 1899, died June 1, 1958.

F5 Albert Alonzo (Bob) Hatheway, born October 13, 1897, died March 31, 1955; married Helen Rectanis.

F6 Erma Grace Hatheway, born March 24, 1899, died October 16, 1984; married (1) August 17, 1918 Joseph Healea, born November 1, 1897; married (2) Grover Waldo Johnson, born September 15, 1909, died November 26, 1984.

F7 Herbert Ross Hatheway, born November 9, 1904, died January 10, 1908; married February 3, 1921 Edith Lois Host.

F8 Mildred May Hatheway, born March 7, 1907; married October 15, 1924 Ray Byron Gibson.
