C. Robert Miller
C. Robert Miller, 89, of Versailles, Ohio, died Sept. 21, 2007, at the Versailles Health Care Center. He was born Nov. 19, 1917, in Darke County, Ohio, son of the late Ora W. and Lydia A. (Martin) Miller. He was a life long farmer and also formerly worked at C.F. Poeppelman Inc., in Bradford. He was a member of Oakland Church of the Brethren, Bradford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Wondle) Miller, whom he married Jan. 13, 1946; sister, Bertha Burns, Maude Wright; brothers, Leonard, Lowell and Eddie Miller. Surviving is his daughter, Gloria Miller of Versailles. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Oakland Church of the Brethren, 8058 Horatio Harris Creek Road, Bradford, with Rev. Bill Kidwell officiating. Burial will take place in the Harris Creek Cemetery in Bradford. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
