Bashore aka Bashor son of Jacob Bashore and Sarah Noffsinger, born April 11, 1832 in Rockingham County, Virginia, died May 9, 1906 in Harrison Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.
Susannah and John's markers in the Union Center Cemetery are both engraved with the Bashor spelling.
Bashore, Bro. John, son of Bro. Jacob and Sister Sarah Bashore, born in Rockingham county, Virginia, died May 8, 1906, in the Union Center church, Ind., aged 74 years and 28 days. When only a few years old he moved with his parents to Miami county, Ohio, where he was married to Susannah Miller in June, 1853, by whom he had eleven children. His wife and five children preceded him to the spirit world. He leaves six children and two sisters. His suffering was great for the last few months. He united with the Brethren church over forty years ago. He was anointed. Funeral services by Brethren Eli Roose and David Angelmeyer from Eccl. 7: 1, at the Union Center brick church, and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

H1 Mary Bashor, born April 5, 1855 in Darke County, Ohio, died February 2, 1904 near North Liberty, Indiana, married December 23. 1875 Marshall County, Indiana, Andrew Wolf, born in May 1851 in Ohio. She is buried North Liberty Cemetery.
H2 Elizabeth Bashore, born November 1, 1857 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died July 7, 1862, buried Miller Cemetery in Darke County.
H3 David Bashore, born November 10, 1858 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died May 11, 1859, buried Miller Cemetery in Darke County.
H4 Sarah Bashor, born February 7, 1860 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died February 1, 1929 Marshall County, Indiana, married December 16, 1880 Marshall County, Indiana, Milton E. Markley, born September 21, 1860 in Indiana, died July 27, 1935. They are buried Union Cemetery in West Township, Marshall County, Indiana where her marker is incorrectly engraved with the death year of 1928.
H5 Henry Bashore, born January 11, 1862 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, died November 2, 1943 near Gordon, Nebraska. He remained single.
H6 Isaac Newton Bashor, born December 3, 1864 in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, murdered March 11, 1918 in Elkhart County, Indiana. He remained single and is buried Union Center Cemetery.
