LINE: s A1 Johann Michael (Mueller) Miller | B6 Johann Michael Miller, Jr. | C7 Philip Jacob Miller | D3 Daniel Miller | E1 Stephen Miller

F5 Jacob Bowman Miller, born October 7, 1804 Clermont County, Ohio, died January 1, 1885 near Gretna, Ohio, married August 31, 1828 Clark County, Ohio, Catharine Neher, born October 16, 1805 Rockingham County, Virginia, died June 16, 1872 near Gretna, Ohio, daughter of John Neher and Martha Magdalena Baer.

Jacob moved his family to Harrison Township, Logan County, Ohio in 1834 where he cleared his 169 acre farm and erected a log cabin. They were members of the German Baptist Brethren church. During the War Between the States, the church disapproved of members serving in the conflict and voting. This was not the thinking of Jacob who removed his membership. While Catharine retained hers, he did not rejoin the church later. Shortly before 1880, he sold the farm to his son Samuel. They are buried on their farm in Harrison Township.
