April 22, 1803 Clermont County, Ohio, died August 22, 1831, Twin Township, Preble County, Ohio; married (2) January 30, 1833 Montgomery County, Ohio, Hannah Earnest, born January 14, 1811 Maryland, died October 4, 1876 Twin Township, Preble County, Ohio.
As a resident of Clermont County, Daniel purchased the NE 1/4 of section 25 in Twin Township on December 23, 1828 of 158.88 acres for $675.00, bringing his family the following April to Preble County where they resided in a log cabin. Prior to the move, he was elected to the ministry in the Stone Lick Dunker district. He was licensed February 25, 1840 in Preble County to perform marriages. Being ordained an elder in the Upper Twin district, he held oversight of the congregation. About 1855, he sold his farm to son Samuel, with whom he and Hannah lived, thereafter devoting his time to the ministry. All of his sons-in-law were deacons in the German Baptist Brethren Church.
He, Sally and Hannah are buried Sugar Hill Cemetery in Lanier Township.

They are buried Union Center Cemetery in Elkhart County, Indiana.
G2 Sarah Miller, born November 1, 1824 Clermont County, Ohio, died in September 1896 near Kokomo, Indiana, married February 8, 1844 Preble County, Ohio by her father, Josiah Woods, born September 6, 1820 Virginia, died January 2, 1907 near Kokomo, Indiana. They are buried Crown Hill Cemetery in Kokomo, Indiana.
G3 Mary Miller, born September 3, 1828 Clermont County, Ohio, died February 1, 1871 Preble County, Ohio, married September 12, 1847 Preble County, Ohio by her father, James Swihart, born January 8, 1825, died May 20, 1916 Eaton, Ohio, son of Jonathan Swihart and Sophia Cloyd. They are buried Sugar Hill Cemetery.

Samuel was a minister and elder at the Upper Twin Church of the Brethren. They are buried Sugar Hill Cemetery.
