The Vindicator, 1907, p. 157:BOWSER. Sarah Bowser, wife of Elder Henry Bowser, Upper Twin Creek congregation, Ohio, was born in Montgomery Co., Ohio, April 11 A.D. 1843 and died February 18 A.D. 1908 aged 63 years, 10 months and 7 days. She was married to Henry Bowser in the year 1860. To this union were born nine children six sons and three daughters all of whom are living and married mother being the first to leave the family. She, with her husband, united with the Old German Baptist church in 1860 and remained faithful and steadfast until death always willing to discharge her duty in the church and in the home and as a neighbor. A few weeks before she died she followed the instructions of the apostle by calling for the elders of the church and was anointed in the name of the Lord. She leaves a husband, nine children and twenty-four grand-children to mourn their loss which we hope is her eternal gain. We need not weep as those that have no hope. We hope to meet her in a better world than this.
