E? Emanuel Miller, born 3 June, 1787, Washington County, Maryland, died June 3, 1853, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. Married September 16, 1813 in Montgomery County, Ohio, to Esther (Hetty) Rench, daughter of Peter and Catharine Rench, born December 2, 1795, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, died June 25, 1850, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio.

It is thought that Emanuel served as a private under Captain John Wiley from August 30, 1813 until February 28, 1814 during the War of 1812. On May 27, 1814, "of Miami County" he finalized the purchase of the north east quarter in section 10 of Newberry Township, containing 160 acres. In two transactions on December 23, 1851, he divided the land, selling to his sons Abraham and Joseph. It is likely that he and Hetty were members of the Upper Stillwater Fraternity of German Baptists district. They are buried in the Old Harris Creek Cemetery in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio.

He married January 23, 1852 Darke County, Ohio by Brethren Elder Joseph Risser, to (second wife) Esther "Hettie" Morgan daughter of Daniel Morgan and Susannah, born May 24, 1824, Darke County Ohio, died October 21, 1903, Union Township, Delaware County, Indiana.

F2 Elizabeth Miller, born September 21, 1818, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. Died August 29, 1853 Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio. Married December 20, 1838 Miami County, Ohio, John C. Hardman son of Jonathan Hardman and Sarah Cable, born November 14, 1814, Ohio. Died April 3, 1863, Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio.

Married December 19, 1844, Miami County, Ohio, to Sarah Ann "Sallie" Bashore daughter of Jacob Bashore and Sarah Nauftsinger, born June 15, 1828, Rockingham County Virginia, died May 30, 1895, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio.

F5 Joseph Miller, born 25 November, 1824, Miami County, Ohio. Died 22 March, 1909, Darke County, Ohio. Married 4 December, 1851, Anna B. Bashore, born 19 May, 1834, Rockingham County, Virginia. Died 7 December, 1920. Both buried Harris Creek Cemetery. Joseph gave the land for the Cemetery. Daughter of Jacob Bashore and Sarah Noffsigner.

F6 Sarah Miller, born March 9, 1827 in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio, died August 14, 1907, married February 19, 1856 Covington, Ohio, to Peter Reish, son of Samuel Reish and Rachel Coppas, born July 20, 1823 in Pennsylvania, died July 22, 1896 in Decatur, Illinois. Peter was previously married to Martha Jane Reese 1832-1854. He and Sallie are buried in Morrisonville, Illinois.
