Mrs. Alice Donnell Called by Death Mrs. Alice Lillian Donnell, 61, of 517 Clermont, a charter member of Mount Auburn Christian Church, died at a local hospital Monday after a brief illness. For the last twenty-five years Mrs. Donnell had served as pianist for the Men's Bible Class of the church and was for many years a teacher in the Sunday School. She was a native of Marion, Kan., but had lived in Dallas for fifty-two years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Auburn Christian Church, Gunter and Graham, with the Rev. L. B. Blackman officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park. Mrs. Donnell is survived by her husband, W. A. Donnell; a son, Alfred A. Donnell, and two grand-children.
ACTIVE CHURCH WORKER DIESMrs. W. A. Donnell, 517 Clermont, resident of Dallas since 1893 and a prominent church worker at the Mount Auburn Christian Church, died Monday at Methodist Hospital after suffering a heart attack Sunday. Mrs. Donnell, a native of Marion, Kan., resided there before coming to Dallas. She was born Feb. 22. 1884. Survivors are her husband, an employee of the Union Terminal Company; a son, Alfred B. Donnell, and two grandchildren, James Alfred and Stanley Joe Donnell. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Auburn Christian Church, Rev. Lester B. Rickman officiating. Pallbearers will be J. E. Boyd, John Pace, James D. McBride, Ben Jackson, W. C. Tatom and L. N. Olliphant.
