February 1954 Robert William Ross, 59 prominent farmer and charter member of the Adams Mills Grange died at 3:10 am today at his home in Adams Mills following an extended illness. He was born in Adams Mills June 28, 1894, a son of Samuel and Elizabeth Murphy Ross. Mr Ross married Mildred Balo Ross 15 November, 1933. He was a member of the Madison Presbyterian Church at Adams Mills, Surviving in addition to his widow are three stepsons, James Robert, Edward Eugene and David Nenian Ross all of Adams Mills; a stepdaughter Mrs Max Stauffer of Gettysburg, Ohio and seven grandchildren. A brother and a half sister are deceased. Services will be held at 2 pm Friday at the residence in charge of Rev Harold Lee, Pastor of the Madison Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the residence after 7 pm today.
