She and her (future) husband, both single, were sponsors of the son of Christian and Charlotte Miller at St. john's Lutheran Church Littlestown, on 12 May 1780. Their oldest child, Elisabeth, was baptized in the same Church on 22 September 1783, so Margrethe and John Bauer were married sometime between those two dates.

E7 Samuel Bauer, born 2 January, 1799; died 3 November, 1872; married Catherine.
