If Michael and Elizabeth Mueller had a son Johannes, he must have died before his father, since he is not mentioned as one of Michael Mueller's children in the deeds (1792 and 1797) settling Adam Miller's debt to his father after his father's death.
There is a John Miller of Gettysburg whose land "adjacent to Henry Bushman" was sold at sheriff sale on August 24, 1796. The will of a John Miller was entered for probate in the York County Court in 1794 (Gettysburg then was in York County), and estate papers of a John Miller of Gettysburg were filed in York County in 1796. It is possible that this was the son of Michael Miller, but there was a flourishing family of Scots-Irish Millers in the same area at the same time.
There is a Johannes Miller, who was born in 1752 in Berks County, PA, married 19 May 1772 in Franklin County, PA, and died 13 June 1802 in Somerset County, PA. (LDS Website). This pattern of migration fits this Miller family well. However, this Johannes Miller is listed as a child of another family entirely, and his death date (1802) is well after that of Michael Mueller.
