D11 Magdalena Miller, born 25 April, 1770 Frederick County, Maryland, died May 25, 1842, Elkhart, Indiana. Married circa 1796 to Daniel Cripe Sr., son of Jacob Gripe Jr. and Barbara Shideler, born May 6, 1772 Frederick County, Maryland, died December 10, 1859 Elkhart County, Indiana.

Daniel changed the spelling of his surname. He and Magdalena were both born in the area of Frederick County which in 1776 became Washington County. They did not take land from her father's estate, but rather were among the earliest settlers of Montgomery County, Ohio. He made the final payment and was granted a patent for a quarter of section 27 in xxx6-4 Township on May 7, 1807.

As Daniel Kreib, he was a grand juror in the August term of the Montgomery County Common Pleas (Civil) Court. State vs. David M. Sharp of Kentucky, charged that on January 27, 1806, he committed an assault upon the person of Jerom Holt with a loaded pistol, attempting murder. Sharp pled not guilty and the case was removed to the Supreme Court in Warren County, Ohio.

Daniel was elected to the ministry and in 1811 when the Lower Miami Dunker congregation was divided, creating four church districts, he was named the Elder in charge of the newly formed Wolf Creek district.

In 1829, the family moved to near Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana and the following year, Daniel helped establish the Elkhart Dunker congregation.

They were originally buried in the Dierdorff Cemetery. On May 28, 1961, their remains were removed and re-interred in the West Goshen Cemetery.
