Dearest May is gone to that heavenly rest
   Where trouble and sorrow are known no more,
She is calmly resting on Jesus' breast,
   And waiting for us on the other shore.

   Yes, May is waiting in that glorious home
Waiting to welcome us in;
   Waiting to crown us with an angel's crown
Where there is no more sin.

'Twas very hard to part with one
   So dear and loving, kind and true;
But our Savior called her to His home,
   For he had work for her to do.

For six years Miss Bell has been living with her grandfather Mr Hugh Love. In the latter part of May, hoping that a change would be beneficial to her health, she returned to her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Bell. She was an earnest, active Christian ever rejoicing and bearing her cross. Just as the sun was setting on last Wednesday evening her soul, guided and lighted by the Son of Righteousness entered in triumph into the "better world".
