Thursday, April 1, 1948 FRAZIER DEBOLT MCCLANAHAN, only son of William Anning and Arabella Morrison McClanahan, was born in Liberty Township, on June 17, 1867, and died March 8, 1948, near Cherry Fork. He married Emma Elise Widney, November 26, 1890, in the home where they have resided the past 42 years. They have one child, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Lou Satterfield, who, with her mother, and one grandson, Robert Satterfield, survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Myrta Wasson, of Dayton, and Mrs. Belle Patton, of Winchester, and a son-in-law, Harry Satterfield, of Seaman, survive. Early in life he joined the U. P. Church at Cherry Fork and has been a faithful member since. He has served on the Board of Trustees and this past winter, worked very hard to get a new furnace installed in the church. He was a trustee of his own township for several years and a member of the County Republican Executive Committee for several years.

Thursday, September 8, 1955 EMMA ELISE WIDNEY, daughter of John and Susan Widney, was born in Kansas, October 5, 1867, When Emma was nine years of age, her father brought his family to Ohio and settled on a farm near Cherry Fork, this county, where they reared four daughters. She married Frazier D. McClanahan, November 26, 1890. He died March 8, 1948, and she afterwards lived with her daughter, Mrs. Harry Satterfield, in Seamon. Emma died August 27, 1955. Her survivors: Her daughter, Anna Lou; her son-in-law, Harry Satterfield; a grandson, Robert Satterfield, on great-granddaughter, Sandra.
