Pg. 1N. D. BALDRIDGE TAKEN BY DEATHNewton D. Baldridge, widely known farmer of Cherry Fork, passed away at the University Hospital at Columbus Thursday, June 6. Mr. Baldridge was the last surviving member of the family of James and Margaret McVey Baldridge, and was one of a family of 10 children. He was born December 24, 1885, and lived his entire life in the community. He was united in marriage to Mary Emma McCutcheon, November 1, 1881, who with three children, Miss Delphia Baldridge of Westerville. Mrs. Florence Wills of Cherry Fork, and John Baldridge of Wayne Twp., survive. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Cherry Fork U. P. Church. Burial was made in the Cherry Fork Cemetery, under the direction of William Lafferty of West Union.
