Pg. 8D.M. BaldridgeD.M. Baldridge, well known resident of North Liberty, who had been in failing health for some time, passed to his reward last Thursday morning, December 5, aged 65 years. Davis McDill Baldridge was born at Cherry Fork, Ohio, July 25, 1853. He was the son of James Wilson and Margaret Baldridge. He was united in marriage March 6, 1879 to Miss May Kirk, who survives, together with four children, Mecia Tucker, of Winchester; Mrs. Margaret Cook, of Ford, Kansas, and Edwin, of Caldwell, Kansas; Mrs. Kirk, with the American Expeditionary Forces in France. One child had passed away in infancy. Mr. Baldridge joined the Cherry Fork United Presbyterian Church in his early life and lived a consistent Christian life. He will be greatly missed in the community in which he lived a busy and useful life. Funeral services were conducted at the Cherry Fork U. P. church Friday afternoon by Rev. H. A. Thompson, of Columbus, followed by burial in the Church cemetery.
